my story

I started piano lessons at four - not by request, but because my parents signed me up and I went along with it. With a musician father and a music-loving mom, it was a natural fit. By eleven, I had taken up flute, and singing has been a constant thread throughout it all. What began as routine quickly became passion. Music became my outlet - shaping how I express, connect, and move through the world.

That passion has taken me far beyond home. I’ve had the privilege to perform in China, Russia, Estonia, Finland, and England, experiencing different cultures through music and connection. Those experiences broadened my perspective and deepened my belief in music as a universal language. I went on to earn a degree in music business from Georgia State University, with a concentration in piano performance, and spent nearly a decade working in the industry.

Alongside music, I’ve built a long career in nonprofit animal welfare. The work has been both challenging and rewarding, reinforcing the importance of empathy, collaboration, and meeting people where they are - lessons that naturally carry over into my life as a performer.

These days, music remains my creative home. Whether I’m on stage or in rehearsal, it keeps me inspired, grounded, and always reaching for something new. Thanks for being here - hope to see you at a show soon.
